ROGUE Fast-Setting Epoxy is an alternative to our ROGUE Slow-Setting Epoxy. It's a two-part adhesive with a 1:1 ratio between hardener and resin. It has a working time of five minutes and a cure time of fifteen minutes. When mixed, the two parts form high-strength bonds through a chemical reaction between the resin and the hardener that can occur in a large temperature spectrum. When ambient temperatures pass 80-90 (27-32°C), the epoxy will harden more rapidly causing the working time and cure time to decrease substantially.
Preparation: Mix onto a clean, dry, and oil-free surface. Roughen smooth surfaces for better adhesion.
Mix 1:1 ratio of resin and hardener. Mix resin and hardener for one minute thoroughly.
For best results, apply a small amount to both surfaces and press together. Pro Tip: Use a clamp.
See it in action from our friend Walter Sorrells. Skip to around the 4 minute mark for it's use.
First time ever using a quick set 2 part epoxy. It worked great!
Fast and easy great product!
Attached an elk stag for the handle on this hand forged blade and am very pleased with the product and the way it bonded the handle to the blade
Really strong great for knifes!
This epoxy is a little thicker than what I’ve been using. It’s a lot easier to use. It dries clearer than the other as well. Love this epoxy.
This stuff is incredible! It sets so much quicker than anything I’ve used which allows me to move on to shaping right away! It’s easy to work with and doesn’t smell nearly as bad as other epoxy.
This build was my first time using rogue epoxy, and I love it. Easy 1:1 mix ratio, and a fast set time. It worked exactly as planned and I’ll definitely be using it for all my projects!
Works very fast
I used West Systems for a long ass time. Great shit, but gotta mix a bucket load for proper ratio. And i used fillers for specific applications.
Well, thank GOD I decided to try Rogue. Only way to describe this epoxy:
Its like welding the damned handle scales to the tang. Nuclear attack wouldn't get them off.
I glued up a set of scales on a chefs knife, and realized after curing that I didn't align the scales quite right (rookie mistake and haste didn't help). Yeah. They ain't coming off. Might just have to amputate the tang
One of the best that's been used after all these years, I finally figured out what I want is the best for everything
First use on this hidden tang. Easy to mix up, fast acting and seems to be a rock solid hold! Love it!
Love this stuff. By far the best epoxy I’ve ever used.
The set up and strength is the best I’ve used. I don’t trust my projects with anything else.
Used for a home repair quick project. Bond is rock solid and clean. Feels like the pieces are one contiguous part after bonding. Excellent product can’t wait to use on my handles as intended. Have no doubt will work perfectly.
Good bond, easy to spread, hardens quick. Little on the expensive side, but I think it's worth it.
There was an item missing from my order and I emailed them and they mailed it back super fast very happy.
Great stuff. Will buy again.
Great expoxy, used it to glue on these scales. I was a little worried at first to switch up what I had been doing but I’m very happy with the short dying time and toughness. I will definitely buy again!
I've been using store bought epoxy to glue my knife scales on and I've tried alot of them. This stuff is a game changer and way less waste. It will be hard to make seitch
Best I have ever used, the shredders blew my mind!! Great customer service too! Thanks Combat!
It seems like it is thinner than other epoxy I have used and it doesn't take forever to get to the nozzle. It is a little pricey for the size though
Legit! Never getting epoxy from anywhere else! Also got your belts and they are what makes me so confident in my knife making Thank you
Used this epoxy the past two weekends vs. My usual west systems and wow it's nice to actually be able to finish a knife without having to wait all night for the handles to cure. This is some strong stuff too, not like typical fast setting epoxies. I am very happy that I tried this stuff. Thank you combat abrasives for such great products to help us knife makers out. Putting that Combat Abrasives epoxy to work! Love this stuff!
