ROGUE Slow-Setting Epoxy is a slow-setting alternative to our ROGUE Fast-Setting Epoxy. It's a two-part adhesive with a 1:1 ratio between hardener and resin. It has a working time of 30 minutes and a cure time of one hour. When mixed, the two parts form high-strength bonds through a chemical reaction between the resin and the hardener that can occur in a large temperature spectrum. When ambient temperatures pass 80-90 (27-32°C), the epoxy will harden more rapidly causing the working time and cure time to decrease substantially.
Preparation: Mix onto a clean, dry, and oil-free surface. Roughen smooth surfaces for better adhesion.
Mix 1:1 ratio of resin and hardener. Mix resin and hardener for one minute thoroughly.
For best results, apply a small amount to both surfaces and press together. Pro Tip: Use a clamp.
See it in action from our friend Walter Sorrells. Skip to around the 4 minute mark for it's use.
I've purchased this epoxy multiple times. Works great, has never failed me.
I have only been making knives a few years, but I like The slow setting epoxy because it gives me a chance to finish what I need to do before it sets up and rogue works great for me
The only apocryphal I use. Works great.
Wanted to up date my review , seems my issues were user error. Decided to glue up indoors and had none of my previous problems. Like all my abrasives I'll also be getting all my epoxy from Combat Abrasives. Note to the newbie this stuff doesn't like the cold way more so then any epoxy I've ever used but if kept room temperature and worked with at room temperature with no coloring added it's a home run every time.
Love the epoxy in every way except one and it could cause me to not purchase again and that sucks because I love this company. I have used many different kinds of epoxy over the years and getting this stuff out of the bottle is like trying to part the red sea. Idk if it's because of the bottle shape or what but I thought I was going to have a hernia trying to get it out. At first I thought well its the suff my just be getting thick so next time I cent it in the house for two days and did all my work in the house. Same thing happened. I want to buy more and gave more stars than I should but again it was difficult to squeeze out and I'm no light weight. Maby it was my bottle idk I may purchase once more to test that theory.
Haven't had a chance to use product yet but but great company recommended by knife maker friend and would highly recommend to others
All 8 knifes in the photo have the antler handles inlayed
As well as the handles are stacked , with different materials
I would recommend this Epoxy for all knife making projects. In fact use it on any and all projects you never want to come apart
First time paracord wrap held in place with Combat Abrasive Rogue Epoxy. Highly recommend this product.
This product is a game changer. Definitely recommend to anyone interested. There is no better choice.
Truly awesome stuff! As strong and flexible as West Systems G-flex with 1/10th the cure time and less than 1/2 the price. To be honest, I dont even wipe the ricasso after glue up anymore. A plastic pick and it peels away clean. Also very low odor. The best there is.
Product works like it says. Sets hard and holds.
Very forgiving work time with great adhesion won't hesitate to buy mote when needed
It gave me more time to get the horn handle on and the way i liked it
Just what I needed! Was tired of trying to get all the excess wiped up and get it pinned in 5 minutes and this gives me the time I need but also I don't have to wait a whole day for it to set. Excellent product! Will be ordering again!
This adhesive is exceptionally strong I use it on all of my products and I’ve never been disappointed
Making knife handles using Innlay
Semi precious gems, along with copper or brass, and securing the knife blade in place this is the best glue I’ve ever used
Great glue! Nice and clear, easy to mix, (1:1), and the open time is perfect. With a half hour, you don't feel rushed, but apply a little heat, and it cures quick. Also, I noticed very little smell. Most glues of this type have that horrible epoxy smell. It is there to some degree, but almost unnoticeable. Would buy again. The 4oz. will likely last me a while.
I used it as filler on some old mud flaps for my car, where the old metal had rotted away. So far it seems to be good. We'll know more when I actually get them on the car.
It was thicker than I expected, so a little harder to work with to fill in the small openings, but eventually settled in enough to firm them up.
I and my wife make custom knife handles
This is the best adhesive i’ve ever used
Everything arrived in a timely manner and well packaged! All belts look good and perform well! Epoxy has performed well with no problems!
I will continue to support combat abrasive as my supplier for my abrasive inventory!
Forged a knife and used it to set the knife in the bone handle works great
We have never had any issues with the ordering or the quality of items from your company. Thank you!
The epoxy has worked well fo me.
Super epoxy! Strong, flexible and easy to clean!
This is some good stuff right here! Work time is true to the label. Very little squeeze out and dries clear.
will definitely purchase again

Slow setting and a quick cure with very little smell. Using it is easy and convenient.
The bond is not outrageously strong and it cures to more of a spongey consistency than a hard consistency of slow setting epoxys.
I would say it's more of a gap filler than a performance bond.
I do like it for certain situations.

I shared this review from my other email, but hey! Its a two part epoxy so I do 2 reviews.
As I said, this stuff is absolutely beastly. This epoxy is absolutely 100% worth every damned cent.
Need a very strong and durable epoxy to fix this project.
Thanks to Liam from Blackguard Customs for the suggestion of your product.
I wrecked many knives in the haste of slapping on quick set epoxy from my local big box stores and made a huge mess with the globs that did not set quick. With rouge I can take my time and focus on getting it perfect the first time. And when I come back to my knife, any large drops on the sides are solid
Really love the epoxy! It's a little more liquid than g-flex so I don't have to fight with bottle for 5 minutes trying to get epoxy out!
Have to get used to them. But did like it.
Mixes easily and the hold is excellent! Dries clear. No need for me to try out another brand. I don’t have to rush it’s application once I mix the product, I can relax in the process of attaching scales, liners and pins. The squeeze out (?) I had sanded down easily and smoothly!
Great epoxy, speedy deliver and excellent service.
Worked great! Low odor, easy to use- super happy with the results!
Just switched over to the rogue epoxy. Loving it so far!
This is my "go to" epoxy. 30 minute working time and 1 hour cure. It is tough and the bottles are a great size.
I've used quite a variety of epoxies and this epoxy is definitely my favorite!
Great epoxy! Strong adhesive.
The fast setting epoxy worked well. But after clamps and clean up, I could really only do one knife at a mix. The slow setting allows me to do multiple at a time, cleans up easily, and holds great!
Great set time....speeds up my day..new found product loyalty..
It was the first time using the rouge epoxy. I always use a slow setting epoxy & this did not disappoint. I’m getting ready to do a batch of stainless knives so it will be tested. I also used there awesome scalloped belts & I don’t know how I was finishing handles without them. Combats epoxy & any of there belts will be a must have for my shop.
I used the Epoxy to glue on the scales. The longer open time made the process a lot less stressful.
Love the workability of the slow setting epoxy for my full tang knives. Gives me plenty of time to make sure everything is lined up properly , easy to work with and a super strong bond as always with rogue adhesives. 5 star all the way
Very strong hold, with a nice 30min work time!
some the best epoxy on the market love it and love working with it.
I chose Rogue epoxy for my first knife build and I'm extremely happy with the results. Mixed evenly and applied easily with minimal squeeze out. Seems to be super strong stuff!
Great adhesive to work with. Mixed easily and fast. Cured excellent, great bond.
