These shredder belts are amazing. They are fast and they last a very long time. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a what I think is one of the best belts for removing a lot of steel on the market.

Customer photo review of 1" x 42" Sanding Belts for Stock Removal

This is the first 36 grit belt I bought specifically for grinding hardened steel and I was very surprised at the difference it made going to this belt. Typically I charged for a 3 belts per knife and went through 1 belt on a 12" bowie on each grit, hence 3 belts per knife 36, 120, 220, and then the 400 and 600 lasted a couple however; I've been though 4 bowies on this one belt and the grind lines are just now starting to show that I am needing to think of changing the belt out... Looks like I may need to get new handle belts now since I use to use the old belts for handle making....LOL
