Construction
Aluminum oxide grain on X-weight backings depending on your selection — stiffer weights for flat work, flexible weights for contours.
Machine fit
Standard 4″ x 36″ belts — confirm your machine takes 4″ x 36″ before ordering.
I make glassblowing tools, not knives, but these belts are far superior to anything I’ve purchased from hardware stores or Amazon. They sit flat and have a consistent result I’m looking for!
I was pleased with the agressive performance of these belts. that means that i get better control of the surface, If i had to use a a coarser grit to remove the same amount of material, it would mean more belt changes and more room for problems. may not seem like a big deal, but i was impressed.
Products arrived quickly and seems to be of good quality. The only complaint I have is that the transition area where each end of the belt is joined is not very smooth. There is a distinct bump as the belt rotates around. This can be a problem for a little more delicate work. I will buy again.
