Our Shredder Wax was formulated with working knifemakers to cut belt heat: load a little on the running belt and it cuts cooler, loads slower and lasts longer. The Band Saw version does the same job for blades. Two tubes, one mission — keep the heat out of your steel.

This is the first time I have purchased from combat abrasives and have been very pleased with the quality of the belts and the grease tube that I received. I will definitely be getting more from Combat.
Unfortunately, it was a Bait and Switch situation..Ordered a white and light blue label tube product I believed to be Combat Abrasives per picture on website..but I received something different a white and red label tube with Maverick abrasives logo on it..that said since I never received the actual product I paid for I can't say either way if it's good or not..I can only wonder if I received a lesser product at a higher price..
To be honest I have seen this belt grease before an I thought this stuff was just snake oil an skipped it until my last order an even then only tried it because I was a little short for the free shipping an figured what the heck , tried it with a 36 grit shredder an what difference not only in less heat on the blade but also brought a worn belt back to life
This stuff is some sort of witchcraft. Your belt will look all loaded up and worn out but still cuts aggressively and consistently. My experience has been so good I posted about it on social media. If you need more chicken bones just tell me where to send them...
The metal stays cooler not as many shards or metal flying all over it feels such better with the belt dressed than without I will from now on use this on my belts from now on
The addition of this grease makes a noticeable difference on how fast my steel heats up while grinding. I use the rubber block to clean out between the grit, and then throw on some grease every so often. Good stuff.
This is my first time buying from combat abrasives and they will be my go to from now on! You can't beat the shredder belts combined with some belt grease!
After receiving my TW90, I didn't really now what belts to buy, so I ordered the test kit. I was very impressed with all the various belts I received. Now I know what I like for my next order. Shipping was fast too!

These awesome belts cut fast and with the grease stick they cut longer and stay cooler. Definitely will buy some more belts soon. Buy these and save money and time on your blade grinding.
First knife finished after using the grease stick . Man what a difference, belts ran cooler and cut much smoother leaving a better rough grind so my final grinds were easier to smooth out and finish !!!! Game changer
Still trying to figure out the amount or number of times to apply. On higher grit belts seems to load up the abrasive.
Also have an older tube and what's the difference between the band saw lube and the older lubes? the old ones don't seem to have an abrasive either. Jus curious
